The CB-1 is a versatile, platform built guitar. All CB-1 (andCB-2 models) body's are fully chambered for weight reduction and tonal quality. 6.1 pounds, with neck, prior to hardware.
Also the CB-1 can be made as a solid body carved top set neck, solid body slab bolt on neck, double cutaway (CB-2) and a hollow body with parallel tone bars. Choice of woods are a personal choice. I prefer mahogany body and maple top. A tried and true combination. You can choose the scale length your comfortable with. Scale lengths can change the voice of the guitar. Fretboard woods are Rosewood or Ebony. Fret width and height's are your choice. The interior of the guitar, prior to joining the back and top are fully coated in shielding. This makes for a very quiet guitar when plugged in to your amp. Long tenion neck joint is used on all set neck models. All the electrical components are top shelf. Quality pots and tone caps make all the difference in the world when it comes to tone.
Four different headstocks are available to the model you choose. Far left, double cut model. six on a side for slab body (also used on Chocolate "T") next over staggered 3 on a side, slab or set neck models. Far right, set neck model.
